Dean Smith is a Dallas-based, award-winning food stylist who has worked in the field since 2005. A vacation to Italy sparked Smith’s passion for food and inspired him to enroll in culinary school. After getting his degree in Culinary Arts from Scottsdale Culinary Institute Le Cordon Blue, Smith worked at The Mansion on Turtle Creek before focusing on food styling. At his first food photo shoot, Smith was hooked and knew food styling was what he wanted to do professionally. Smith enjoys styling everything from steaks to homemade cobbler.
